Professor Dr. Maad Asi Ali, Dean of the College of Media at the University of Kirkuk, along with his administrative assistant and the head of the Radio and Television Department, visited the headquarters of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Kirkuk Branch, to enhance mutual cooperation. They were warmly welcomed by Mr. Marwan Ibrahim Al-Ani, head of the branch, along with several members of the syndicate council and journalists.
The Dean emphasized the vital role of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate in supporting the journalistic community and uniting its members under its umbrella, which accommodates everyone and ensures they receive their rightful entitlements. He also highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between the syndicate and the College of Media, an academic institution that trains skilled media professionals ready to integrate into the workforce.
In turn, the head of the syndicate branch expressed his happiness with the visit, reaffirming the syndicate’s readiness to support the college and collaborate on shared expertise and training programs.
During an interview with Al-Dakhiliya Radio, the Dean praised the efforts and sacrifices of the security forces in maintaining peace and protecting citizens in Kirkuk Governorate.
